What’s a block explorer?
A block explorer reads data from a blockchain node and presents it in a searchable way.
Example lookups (general steps)
- Copy the wallet address or transaction ID you want to inspect.
- Open a reputable explorer for that network.
- Paste the value into the search bar and review balances, timestamps, and confirmations.
Tip: Explorers are public. Never paste secret keys or seed phrases into any website.
What you’ll typically see
- Addresses: balance, history, token holdings (on smart-contract chains).
- Transactions: amounts, fees, sender/recipient, block, confirmations.
- Blocks: producer, tx count, timestamp, reward/fees.
